2021 JCAG Conference Recap

The 2021 Community Service event was done in collaboration with the Habitat for Humanity of Glynn County. The project consisted of construction, painting, and yard work.

The 2021 JCAG Conference took place at the Hyatt Andaz Savannah in Savannah, GA.

We had multiple experts in their respective fields speak at the conference this year. The Presenters were Terron Hallums (New York Life), Deborah Leslie (The Leslie Group, LLC), Tanya Cales (Special Agent in Charge, GBI), Judge Lisa Colbert (Chatham County Superior Court), Latera Davis (Director of Professional Development & Standards, DJJ), Tony Nobles (Primerica), Melissa Arthur (Vice President of Prevention and Outreach for Partnership Against Domestic Violence, PADV), and Taylor Shropshire (Teen Empowerment Advocate, PADV). The topics were Wills, Retirement, Investments, Financial Planning, Human Trafficking, Opioids/Vaping, Teen Dating & Violence, Legislative Updates, and DJJ Programs.

The 2021 JCAG Conference Award Luncheon took place on June 10th. The awards and scholarship recipients were acknowledged during this time. Please refer to the Awards page for this year's recipients.

The 2021 recipient of the Juvenile Court Association of Georgia Scholarship Award was Rajneet Kala. She was nominated by her Drug Court Coordinator Traci Moultrie of Gwinnett County and currently attends DeVry University.
