About Us

Juvenile Court Association of Georgia (J.C.A.G.) is an independent organization created to provide a united forum for all independent Juvenile Courts located throughout the state of Georgia. Independent Courts work in conjunction with the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice to provide services and probation supervision to our youth statewide. The Georgia Independent Juvenile Courts are Bibb, Carroll, Chatham, Clayton, Cobb, Columbia, Crawford, DeKalb, Dougherty, Floyd, Fulton, Glynn, Gordon, Gwinnett, Hall, Henry, Newton, Peach, Rockdale, Spalding, Troup, Upson, Walton, and Whitfield.

The Georgia Association of Independent Juvenile Courts was established November 1975. The first board meeting was called by Ed Crawford in Bibb County, Georgia. In 2004, the name was changed to Juvenile Court Association of Georgia.

Community Service

One of our missions of JCAG is to make an impact on the communities we serve. Each year we take the time to get involved and give back. Our network spans over 19 counties. Each year we partner with community organizations that will allow us the privilege to assist our community.

GREETINGS!

We are kicking off our fundraiser for the 2022-2023 JCAG Scholarship fund. To start it off we are doing a Fundraiser Calendar. You will be responsible for choosing a date and paying that fee. For Example if you choose the 22nd you will pay $22.00. There will be a drawing on January 5, 2023 if your date is chosen you will win a $50.00 Gift card. If you are interested in participating please contact (Carvelle Taylor (770) 603-4118 or Kevin Chatman (770) 473-5929). Money for the fundraiser is due by December 30, 2022 you can cashapp ($tcarvelle) or give cash to your court rep to be collected by the December 30th. The calendar will be periodically sent out to your court rep with an updated version to show which dates are available.
